Solar activity closely correlates global temperature.

Those who are trying to convince those of us that global warming is caused by CO2 often show us research that has been conducted conveying a similar timeline to the one pictured. The chart that they show is exactly like the one pictured here, but it lacks the Sunspot cycle. This is a considerably negligent piece of information to leave out of their argument, because they fail to inform the public of every anomaly. Based on the information this chart provides, global warming closely follows the solar activity and is not directly correlated with that of CO2 in our atmosphere. Another important aspect that they "forget" to mention is that we are currently experiencing an inter-glacial period. Throughout history the planet has always been warmer during an inter-glacial period. The main climate driver is the sun, which could help you logically conclude that the sun would have something to do with “global warming.” It is strange and seemingly ludicrous to claim that the earth is getting warmer, but it has little or nothing to do with the sun or solar activity. This particular argument is very flawed, as shown in the chart that is pictured. It’s easy to come to the conclusion that as the solar activity changes, the global climate parallels it’s cycle.
